Membership in the Silent Workers of the Cross is permitted regardless of a person’s state of physical health: “disabled” and “healthy” people are together on the same path of holiness.
The Sodc practice the evangelical counsels assumed with the bond of a promise to be renewed annually on the day of the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of Mary (8 December).
